Meet the Family Behind LL Builds
Hello and Welcome!
I’m Jarrod LiPuma, owner and founder of LL Builds LLC, based in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan.
LL Builds began in my basement with a simple idea: to craft pieces that bring families together. Because family is at the heart of everything I do, I named the company after my two amazing children — Louisa and Logan.
What started as a hobby when my kids were born quickly became a passion. I wanted something that kept me close to home and available for my family. Unlike golf, woodworking allowed me to be right where I wanted to be — with them. So, I hung up the golf bag, picked up my tools, and the rest is history.
Before starting LL Builds, I spent nearly twenty years as a manufacturing engineer at one of the world’s top automotive companies (we call it "The big T" not the "Little T" which is Tesla). While traveling the world and country, I learned the precision, process, and craftsmanship of manufacturing — and now I channel that same dedication into every table set and furniture piece we create. I’ve fallen in love with the idea of building not just furniture, but places where families gather and make memories.
At LL Builds, we believe you don’t need riches or fame to create a lasting legacy. A true legacy is built through creativity, craftsmanship, and the values you pass on to others.
